T-fal ActiFry Low-Fat Healthy AirFryer - Review
Deep frying with a teaspoon of oil. Once it sounded like a science fiction, but nowadays the trend is just getting bigger and bigger which leads us for today’s review of the T-fal FZ7002 ActiFry. So let’s get started.
So before we get into details, let’s give ourselves a minute to understand how it low-fat deep fryers work more or less. To make things simple: you use a teaspoon of oil, and the rest is done by a circulation of hot air inside the machine. The results are pretty close to the deep frying we know.
The first thing you will notice is the great design and the simplicity of the fryer. With only 2 buttons: On/Off & Timer, you can’t really go wrong. And yes, it is looking great with a very clean round shape.
So the second thing we are going to talk about is the capacity of the fryer: 2.2LBS (1 KG), which gives you plenty of room to have your favorite meal ready in no-time! Did you want more chicken or chips, but with less oil? Now you can do it. We must be fair and say, that we understand that the capacity might not be enough sometimes, but for the day to day use of the casual user, we think the size is good.
The usage of the fryer is pretty simple. You take out the ceramic pan, place the food inside, pour a maximum of 1 teaspoon, set the amount of cooking time using the digital timer, and off you go. Oh, and don’t worry - it will buzz you up once the timer is up.
Cleaning is super easy as these parts are removable and dishwasher safe: the ceramic pan, lid, paddle and even the tablespoon (which is included). Taking off the parts and then back is super simple.
